85. And another normal twinset.

It has been a busy two weeks what with getting our leos all prepared for the Doncaster IHS show 26th September 2010. As a result we have really got behind with announcing new hatchlings. Up above we have a pair of babies that hatched 15th September 2010. This picture was taken 30th September 2010. As you can see they are doing pretty well. Parents are Red Ron (Tremper red eyed eclipse) and Patricia (patternless. Incubation was 58 days and hatch weight for boteh was 3 gram. We have another 5 babies that have hatched since these two and we will get their details up as soon as we can.
Also worth noting the 2010 breeding season is rapidly winding down and we have roughly about another 10 eggs waiting to hatch.

84. And now a very normal twinset

These 2 little cutey pies popped out of their eggs to greet us on 14/09/2010. The parents are Lulu and ringo. Weight at hatch was 3 gram for both of them and the length of incubation was 60 days.

83. Tremper twinset

Here we have another great pair of Tremper albinos which hatched 13/08/2010. The bottom baby on the blue background is patternless so definitely an APTOR. Even maybe a RAPTOR as we have not a close look at her eyes yet. If so would not to big a susrprise as the parents Nero (Diablo Blanco) and Scarlett (RAPTOR) obviously have a great pedigree and have produced us several red eyed leos this breeding season. incubation time for these two babies was 58 days. the baby on the blue background hatched out at 2 gram. The baby on the green background is from the same parents and weighed in at 3 gram at hatch. Unfortunately she seems to have got trapped under stiff paper and quite soon after her hatch she dropped her tail. As you might be able to make out she has a micro reverse stripe on her lower back so not technically patternless.

82. And then along came 100.

Well here she is. Our 100th baby of the 2010 breeding season. This baby is the sibling of the normal in post 81. hatch was 1 day later on 10/09/2010. On weighing she was 3 gram.

81. Ninety eight and ninety nine.

We are getting very close to our 100th baby for the 2010 breeding season. The 2 babies above take us up to 99. The Tremper baby is the sibling of the baby in post 80. she hatched one day later (09/09/2010) and topped the scales at 2 gram. The normal type baby hatched out on the same day after an incubation of 60 days. weight was three grams and the parents are Befi and Pharoah.

80. And another Tremper eclipse

Well its actually 2 Tremper eclipses we have to announce as the sibling of this baby popped out 24 hours later. Indeed we have done quite well in producing a fair number of eclipses this year from our Tremper breeding combinations. So we won't be parting easily with our Tremper breeders who are consistently giving us eclipses. The baby here is the offspring of Trixy (Tremper albino) and Nero. Hatch was after a 59 day incubation period and birth weight was 2 gram. Small weight from small egg!

79. Catching up with recent hatches

Up top are 2 babies that hatched out 01/09/2010. Both were a bit weedy at 2 gram. The lower baby is a Mack Snow from Maggie and Mo. We are 100% certain on the parentage due to the fact Maggie is our only Mack Snow. I should add that that means a normal we announced as being the offspring from Maggie and Mo a few post back must be incorrect. This baby had incubated for 56 days.
The upper baby is, we think, the offspring of Red Ron and Patricia. If correct the incubation period for her was 61 days.

78. Last baby in August 2010

Here is our last hatch from August 2010. She popped out of her egg in the middle of the afternoon 31/08/2010. we think the parents are Red Ron and Patricia. If true that means she incubated for 60 days. She was a nice chunky 3 gram at hatch.
