374. Ancient Pallas.

This little normal is Pallas and he/she hatched out 22/08/2012. She is the sibling to Horae in the previous post. Biographically only difference to the sibling is an extra 2 days incubation. So for Pallas it was 49 days in the egg.

373. Hail Horae hurrah

This is Horae another one of our little God/Goddesses. Hatch was on 21/08/2012 and she/he is another of our mixed race Leos with the Sire being our Afghanicus Kabul and the Dam being Meriva a common Macularius. Incubatioon period was 47 days and weight at hatch was a good 3 gram plus.

372. Ding dong baby Bell time.

Here we have Acropolis who is a Bell albino out of Einstien and Drill bit. Amazingly, only our third pure Bell this season after our other 2 Bell albino females failed to produce the eggs. We may have a few other Bell combos but just 3 pure babybels. Acropolis hatched 21/08/2012 making that a 47 day incubation. Hatch weight looks about 3 gram.

371. Two Blizzards batter Lowestoft in one day

Lo and behold this babe is the sibling of Excel in the previous post. This babe goes by the name of Wenlock and he/she hatched 19/08/2012. So, exactly the same biography and vital statistics as Excel.

370. Lowestoft swept by Blizzards in August

This is Excel who hatched out sometime after 04:00 hours 19/08/2012. That is the time we checked the incubator before setting off to the Kempton Park show. Parents are Blizz and the unknown Mack RAPTOR. As in previous posts the Sire is unknown because we got Blizz with buns in the oven. This babe was, according to our records, in the incubator for 46 days. She/he was quite small at hatch and probaly a tad below 3 gram.

369. Probably Ogogo's sibling

Great to get back home on Sunday evening, from the Kempton Park show last weekend (19/08/2012),to find we had 3 new hatchlings. This one is Marathon who we suspect might be the sibling to Ogogo shown in post 369. Therefore all the same biographic details as Ogogo apart from an extra day in the incubator. Also looked pretty much the same weight and at least 3 gram toward 4 gram.

368. Another one of those known unknowns.

This babe was found hatched out this morning 18/08/2012 and is named Ogogo. It was in a bit of a mixed up egg tub so we are not too sure who the parents are though we have narrowed the Dam down to Zuton, Lulu or Patio. Hopefully as it loses the dark banding and turns normal wild type, or hypo, we should be able to identify the parents. Incubation period is over 50 days and looked a good 3 gram at hatch.

367. Very pretty Mack

This pretty looking Mack Snow is Mobot who hatched out 11/08/2012. Parents are Hazel and ROB Roy who are both Mack RAPTORS. Looked at least 3 gram when hatched which came after a 48 day stint in the incubator.

Sunday 12 August 2012

366. August and it is pouring down Mack Snow in Lowestoft

This is Wiggold who is the sibling to the supersnow shown in post 365. Absolute same biography as hatch was on the same day.

365. More Trotty gold with number 100 hatchling

This is Trotty who hatched out 09/08/2012 who we think is thereabouts or one 100th hatchling of the season. Parents are our every reliable Maggie and chief striker Rob Roy. Looks at least 3 gram and hatch came after 46 days in the incubator.

364. Not too good a photo but you might have red eyes!

This is McHoy who is the sibling to Ennis in post 361. So pretty much the same biography apart from McHoy arriving one day later on 06/08/2012. Also looks a tad smaller and probably 2 gram chasing 3 gram at hatch.

Thursday 9 August 2012

363. Now it's time for Bolt to lead the way.

Bolt shown here is the sibling to the baby shown in post 362. So no need to say anything about this babes biography as it is the same as cav's. In fact they were both found together in the incubation box on the morning of 06/08/2012. So we don't know which one hatched first. Maybe they could race each other to sort it out.

362. Cav leads the way

Little Cav shown here hatched out 06/082012. The eyes are not visible on this photo but they are nice full eclipse red passed on from the Sire (Max Planck) and Dam Jungle Rock. So another red eyed Tremper eclipse to add to the 20 plus we have masnaged to produce this year. Incubation took 48 days and this one looked about 3 gram at hatch.

361. Ennis reveals her hi-tech go fast body suit.

This is Ennis who hatched out 05/08/2012 and is pictured here shedding her body suit today 09/08/2012. Parents are Blizz and the unknown Mack RAPTOR. As stated earlier the Sire is unknown as Blizz was already gravid when we got her. Hatch came after 46 days in the incubator and this babe looked an easy 3 gram straight out of the egg.

360. Wiggo is first again in August 2012

This is Wiggo who hatched out 02/08/2012 and is the clutch mate of Peleton anoounced a couple of posts earlier. So our second Bell for 2012. Only biographic difference from peleton is a couple of extra days incubation at five zero.<

Tuesday 7 August 2012

359. What is a Judoka?

One of our recent Leo hatchlings who is shown below. Hatch was 31/07/2010 after 48 days in the incubator. Hatch weight is estimated at 3 gram. Parents are Zuton and Kabul so 50% Afghanicus genes in this one.

358. A rare baby Bell indeed!

In fact our first baby Bell albino of 2012 as two of our females have not produced viable eggs this season. This baby is from Drill Bit and Einstein and the hatch was 29/07/2012. looked a decent size at hatch and at least 3 gram following 49 of incubation. Goes by the name of Peleton.

357. A return to the hypos

This is Missy Franklin who was our third hatch of the day 29/07/2012. Parents are Lulu and Helios. Incubation took 51 days and hatch weight was a good 3 gram. The photo was tasken today 07/08/2012 and the dark banding is browning so looks to be developing into a hypo which is what was expected.

Saturday 4 August 2012

356. All very normal at the moment

This babe is Spitz who was our second hatch 29/07/2012. She/he is a normal wild type of the the dark olive classic variety and half Afghanicus from the Sire Kabul. The Dam for this babe is Meriva, one of our own produced aberant normals. Estimate of hatch weight is 3 gram following 49 days of incubation.

355. Enter Nike.

This is our little Goddess Nike who hatched out 29/07/2012. The photo was taken today and the dark banding is already fading to brown so it looks like he/she will be a hypo. That also helps us to identify the parents as Lulu and Helios. Incubation took 51 days and hatch weight looked a good 3 gram.

354. Identify yourself

Same explanation as given in post 353 holds for this baby who also hatched out 28/07/2012. So the parental condrum is exactly the same. This one was a bit bigger at hatch and at least 3 gram. If we had to put a bet on the dam we would probably opt for Nell. Lastly we have named this babe Owens.

353. Another known unknown Leopard Gecko

Again another hatchling from a batch of mixed up eggs. This is Neri who hatched out 28/07/2012. Dam for this one is either Whoopi or Nell making the incubation period 50 or 53 days. Whoopi produces really dark rugged wild type offspring with micro spotting so we should to be a bit more definitive on the parents as he or she grows. Looked a bit tiny at hatch and probably 2 gram.
