106 First hatchling in 2011

A quick peak in the incubator this morning revealed a tiny little red eyed Tremper eclipse starting to emerge from its egg. by the time i had got my camera sorted it was almost fully out of the egg as you will see in the picture upwards.
I also took another piccy later when it had fully hatched. We were a little surpised to find we had a hatchling from this egg as it was a bit dented throughout the incubation, though i might add it never went manky. Vital statistics are incubation period 43 days, hatch weight 3 gram, sire Nero (diablo blanco) and dam Diva (red eyed Tremper eclipse.
So, het for diablo blanco.

105. And we now have over 30 eggs.

We are now picking up the pace with this years breeding season. Seems that recent warmer days have convinced a few of our breeders to lay their eggs and we are as of this morning now incubating just over 30 eggs. ETA for our first hatchling is towards the end of this month. Fingers crossed.

Also worth a mention about our plans for running tables at reptile breeders meetings this year. So far we have booked tables at the IHS Doncater show 26th June, the EHS Norwich show 10th July and the FBH Kempton show 14th August. We will also be visiting the Houten animal fun day in Holland 3rd April. In addition we will also be helping out on a EHS club table at the ERAC meeting in Thurrock on 22nd May where we will have a small selection of animals availble.
