Lowestoft Leopard Geckos

Wednesday 18 July 2012

338. We are going to tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree for this one!

This is Spotz who has been at large in the eves of our loft for the past 6 1/2 months. She escaped out of her enclosure when we didn't close the door correctly just after christmas/new year time. We found her late last night 17/07/2012. Clearly she found herself a nice cosy place to hide out amongst the insulation during the cold spells during winter. Weighed her this morning at 39 grams which compares to 40 grams on the sale sheet we prepared for her at the Houten show last December. We think she was about 46-48 grams when she went on walkabout. As you can see from the piccy she has a decent chubby tail so must have found some cricket or mealworm scraps to live on while on the run. From the piccy you will also see she is a super looking aberrant Leo with great shades and markings. So fantastic to have her back and really glad we didn't sell her at Houten.
