113. Bad eggs

Seems like we have loads of manky eggs so far this year. Whilst we are pretty similar on the number hatches compared to this time last year we have lost a very large number due to bad eggs. Possibly it is because we have a lot of novice and inexperienced breeders this year who are dropping their eggs in bad locations. Also we have lost a few by collecting them too late after they have gone cold. In consequence, looks like we are currently only getting a 33% success rate. But on a more positive note it looks like we should see some improvement in the next few weeks as our more recently laid eggs are in far better shape. So onwards and upwards to eggfinity and beyond. A couple more hatches are expected within the next week after which the pace of hatches should swing into top gear.
